The first term has ended. When it comes to the second term of schooling, you'll feel that time will getting faster. For those who are teaching the exam classes this is the time where you are getting busy with strategies, setting up especially for the weak ones, not exceptional me. Through my experience so many things had been done. Until at certain point you'll feel that you almost lost of ideas.
This term I'll attempt to make an anomaly. Other than modules and seminars, I’ll try to motivate and shift their mind setting. This idea I got from my daughter who’s studying at SMASKL. Before I start teaching, I’ll write ”Add maths is easy” on the board as a motto. Hopefully I can set their mind to positively think that is not difficult to solve add maths problems. What you need is to drill your self constantly with the correct working steps. And most important, never give up for only if you could not get the solution on the first trial.
I always pray to Allah, at least all my students pass the SPM examination. I'm not teaching in a boarding school with smart students, but I never degrade my students' abilities. Though suprisingly, last year was the worst. As teacher with more that 10 years of teaching experience, I only could produce 1 student with A! So hopefully this year will get better. Let’s never lose hope that this new aim will spark a miraculous outcome…
