Hari ini kenduri lagi di rumah pengantin lelaki,
Kalau orang Terengganu panggil majlis sambut menantu.
What is the significant about it?
Since this is a new home for the bride,
it's where the mother in law will introduce
her 'new daughter' to relatives and friends.
Maka duduklah pengantin
ditemani ipar bersalaman dengan setiap
saudara mara dan tetamu yang hadir.
(I still remember myself 17 years ago... malu...hehe..)
As for me, it's like a get together day.
I meet many of my husband's nephews and nieces.
Since there are many of them,
then I take some time to recall their names...
Hah... ini cucu-cucu saudara, I'm a grandma...
They have unique names, Fatini, Da'yini, Lubaib, Labib
and so on... sorry lupe lagi Tok Umi ni...
At late evening then I leave the house.
